Description

Just like kids, animals love to play - birds do it, ‘roos do it, even the bonobos at the Zoo do it. This spring, visitors can play at the San Diego Zoo. Watch animals enjoy their toys and sometimes play with their food, during the San Diego Zoo’s Play Days, March 31 – April 15. Watch primates pucker up for popsicles, boisterous bears bat balls, and meerkats munch a bunch of crunchy crickets. Which gorilla makes a fast break for raisins raining down and which polar bear is the receiver of special treats? Zoo animals will be sprinting and sliding, somersaulting and swinging as keepers provide commentary and tip-offs on the frolickers during all play times.

For a sweet 16 days, guests can experience play like they’ve never seen before at Play Days. Every day is a new experience, so be sure to come back for more.

Additional activities at Play Days include:
