Description

Highlighting some of the most popular residents of the San Diego Zoo, the Discovery Days: Absolutely Apes offers guests a chance to get to know a variety of interesting personalities.

Gorillas, orangutans and bonobos (pygmy chimpanzees) are a few of the endangered species highlighted over this long weekend celebration. Including birthday surprises for one of our oldest primate residents, animal meet and greets, special shows and booths. Children can stop by the Orangutan Outpost and have their favorite plush primate given a “check-up” by real San Diego Zoo veterinarians.

Activities are free with paid admission except for additional charge for VIP tours.
